Ask Barnabas Foundation

Q: I’d like to give to charity through my will. What’s the best way to accomplish this?

A: There are a few ways you can give to your favorite causes through your will.

  • Name the organization(s) directly in your will or trust.
  • Name the organization(s) as a charitable beneficiary of your retirement assets or other financial accounts.
  • Make a gift that pays you income for life. When you no longer need the income, the balance of your gift will go toward ministry.

If you plan to support multiple charities through your will, we can help streamline the process. Simply name Barnabas Foundation as the charitable beneficiary, and then provide us with instructions for how you would like the funds to be distributed.
