Lexi Laginess to serve as Barnabas Foundation’s newest planning attorney

Barnabas Foundation welcomes Lexi Laginess, J.D., as the newest member of the planning team. As director of planning, Lexi will help generous Christians develop charitable plans that honor God, provide for their families and support the ministries close to their hearts.

Prior to joining Barnabas Foundation, Lexi was an associate attorney at Ellis, Li & McKinstry (Seattle, WA), where she assisted clients in a variety of legal matters related to estate planning and administration, and the formation and dissolution of businesses and nonprofits.

“We are excited to welcome Lexi to the planning team,” said James Bakke, J.D., executive director. “She is a woman of deep faith whose insight, experience, and passion for this work will serve our clients, member ministries, and staff well.”

Lexi is a graduate of Indiana University, from which she holds a Juris Doctor degree, as well as a master’s and bachelor’s in nonprofit management. She resides in Seattle, Washington, and is a member and deaconess at Downtown Cornerstone Church.

Lexi will work out of Barnabas Foundation’s office in Seattle, Washington.
