All to Jesus

A Message from the Director

All to Jesus, I surrender. All to Him, I freely give. I will ever love and trust Him, in His presence daily live.

Growing up, I remember singing this hymn, “I Surrender All,” many, many times. It wasn’t my favorite as a child; I felt it was too slow and too long. Today, however, it brings tears to my eyes when I sing it. Now, it has a deeper meaning.

When I truly learned to surrender everything to Christ—my dreams, family, work, finances, fears, struggles—I realized He is enough.

Jesus’ words, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well,” have proven true. (Matthew 6:33)

If you’re reading this, you probably understand this, too (even if you don’t know the song). People like you realize there is great joy and freedom when we finally entrust it “all to Jesus.”

I hope you find this issue of Generosity Today encouraging and that it prompts practical ideas for stewarding your God-given resources well.
