Michael French, B.A., M.P.A., J.D.– Michael is the Pastor of The Bridge Birmingham.  He was ordained by John Paul Jackson through the Association of Bridge Churches, when Cahaba Christian Fellowship became The Bridge Birmingham in January of 2008.  Michael was initially ordained by Advocate Ministries (and continues to maintain dual ordination) and has been involved in the work of Advocate since 1985. 

 Michael serves in the Board of Directors of the Association of Bridge Churchesand functions on that Board as the Director of Missions.  He also serves as the Director of Streams Training Center: Cahaba, which is one of several centers that oversee the training provided by Streams Ministries (teaching classes such as The Art of Hearing God, Understanding Dreams and Visions and Advanced Workshop in Dreams and Visions).  Along with his wife, Elisa, they founded Pavilion Village Children's Homein Kenya.

Michael has a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Jacksonville State University. He also has a Juris Doctorate from the University of Alabama. Michael left a successful law practice in 1998 to plant what was then known as Cahaba Christian Fellowship and later became The Bridge Birmingham.
